Jacksonville Jaguars vs Atlanta Falcons (Friday, Aug 23th)
The Jaguars are on fire right now, having won all their preseason matches so far. Their most recent victory was a 20-7 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where Mac Jones was outstanding, throwing for 210 yards and two touchdown passes. I’m expecting to see Trevor Lawrence on the field for the next game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the coach plays Mac Jones again, given his impressive performance last time.
On the flip side, the Atlanta Falcons have yet to win a game this preseason, and I have to say, I don’t believe they will if they continue playing as they are. In their most recent game, they were narrowly defeated by the Baltimore Ravens, 13-12. Despite Jase McClellan’s 55-yard run and a touchdown, it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
This match is tough to predict, but if I had to make a call, I’d go with the Jaguars, even though the Falcons are playing at home. The Jaguars have been playing so well lately that it’s hard to see them losing this one. The last time these two teams faced each other was back in October 2023, with the Jaguars winning 23-7.
