Miami Dolphins vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Friday, Aug 23th)
The Miami Dolphins are on a roll after their recent 13-6 victory over the Commanders. With Mike White averaging 116 passing yards and Chris Brooks contributing 63 rushing yards, the team is looking strong. As they gear up for the next game, I’m confident that the Dolphins’ coach will field a mostly fit squad, aiming to integrate the team and get them playing as if it were the regular season. However, they’ll be missing a few key players, including Willie Snead, Sean Harlow, and Odell Beckham Jr.
On the other hand, the Buccaneers are struggling after a disappointing 20-7 loss to the Jaguars—a result that caught many, including myself, by surprise. Despite Kyle Trask’s 108 passing yards and one touchdown, it wasn’t enough to secure the win. The Bucs will also be without some players for this game, such as Silas Dzansi and Sua Opeta.
Preseason games can be tough to predict, but I believe the Dolphins have the edge, even on the road. The last time these two teams met was in August 2022, with the Dolphins narrowly winning 26-24. I think they can do it again.
