We’ve finally arrived at the last week of the preseason, and I had an amazing time watching the games this past weekend. For Week 3, the first game will be played between the Colts and the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium. With the Colts on the road, seeing how things play out will be interesting. Indianapolis Colts vs Cincinnati Bengals (Thursday, Aug 22th)
The Indianapolis Colts are coming into this match after an impressive 21-13 win over the Cardinals. Jason Bean managed 94 passing yards in that game, while Zavier Scott contributed 55 rushing yards. One thing is certain—even though the best players didn’t play, we got a glimpse of how good this team can be, especially on the defensive side. For this game, a few players have been ruled out, including Ethan Fernea, Trent Pennix, and Wesley French.
On the other hand, the Cincinnati Bengals have yet to win a game this preseason, and I have to say, we should be a bit concerned about that. In their most recent game, they lost 27-3 to the Chicago Bears. Even though we saw a glimpse of Joe Burrow in action, it wasn’t enough for the Bengals to secure the win. One thing is certain—if they don’t manage to improve both their offense and defense, they likely won’t make the playoffs again this year. Regarding injured players, Chris Evans and D’Ante Smith won’t be on the field.
It’s hard to predict this game; however, with the Bengals playing at home, I really can’t see them losing.
