Chicago Bears vs Kansas City Chiefs (Thursday, Aug 22th)
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen the Chicago Bears performing as well as they are now. After defeating the Bills in their first preseason game, the Bears dominated the Bengals in their most recent matchup, winning 27-3—a result that surprised many, myself included. I was particularly impressed by Dante Pettis, who racked up 53 yards and scored two touchdowns.
On the other hand, the Kansas City Chiefs have been struggling this preseason. In their most recent game, they narrowly lost to the Detroit Lions, 24-23. We only caught a glimpse of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce on the field, as they were likely conserving their energy for the regular season.
For the upcoming game, I believe we’ll see a very different Chiefs team. I expect head coach Andy Reid to field his best squad, ready to prove themselves. If I had to make a prediction, I’d pick the Chiefs to come out on top. The last time these two teams faced off was in September of last year, with the Chiefs winning convincingly, 41-10.
