Arizona Cardinals vs Indianapolis Colts (Saturday, Aug 17th)
The Arizona Cardinals didn’t have the best start to their preseason, falling short against the New Orleans Saints with a narrow 16-14 loss. Despite the defeat, it was intriguing to watch some of their emerging talents like Jordan Mims and Jake Haener in action. As they now hit the road, it will be interesting to see if they can secure a win against a formidable opponent like the Colts.
On the other hand, the Indianapolis Colts also stumbled in their preseason opener, losing to the Denver Broncos in a high-scoring game, 34-30. Although Sam Ehlinger managed to rack up 80 passing yards, it wasn’t enough to clinch the victory. However, the Colts now have a great opportunity to bounce back in front of their home crowd, and I believe they are well-positioned to secure the win.
As mentioned earlier, I’m picking the Colts to come out on top in this matchup. That said, anything can happen in football. The last time these two teams faced off was back in 2021, with the Colts emerging victorious with a 22-16 win.
