Buffalo Bills vs Pittsburgh Steelers (Saturday, Aug 17th)
The preseason didn’t start well for the Buffalo Bills, as they lost their first game at home to the Chicago Bears by a score of 33-6. Although most of their key players didn’t play, and their main quarterback, Josh Allen, only played the first quarter, where he completed 2 of 3 passes, the result was still disappointing.
Similarly, the Pittsburgh Steelers also had a rough start, losing to the Houston Texans by 20-12. Even though Kyle Allen managed to rack up 193 yards, it wasn’t enough to stop the Texans’ offense. One thing is certain: given that the Steelers were playing at home, I expected much more from them.
It takes a lot of work to predict this game. According to sportsbooks, the Steelers are coming into this match as heavy favorites, while the Bills are the underdogs. If I had to make a prediction, I would lean towards the Steelers, but only because they have the home-field advantage. The last time these two teams faced each other was in January of this year, with the Bills winning 31-17.
