Houston Texans vs Pittsburgh Steelers (Friday, Aug 9th)
The Texans are among the top favorites to win the AFC South division again and let’s be honest—with a quarterback as talented as C.J. Stroud, anything is possible. As I mentioned earlier, the Texans have become one of the best teams in the NFL over the past year. For the first time in many years, there’s a genuine sense that this team could achieve something they’ve never done before winning the Super Bowl.
On the flip side, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be playing their first NFL preseason game, and I’m sure they don’t want to disappoint their fans with a loss. Last season, they finished third in the AFC North with a record of 10 wins and 7 losses. Despite making it to the Wild Card round, they were eliminated by the Buffalo Bills with a 31-17 loss. If I had to predict the outcome of this game, I would pick the Houston Texans to win. The last time these two teams faced off was in October 2023, with the Texans winning convincingly, 30-6.
