Indianapolis Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, Oct 6th)
If there was a team that truly surprised everyone in Week 5, it was the Indianapolis Colts. They handed the Steelers their first loss of the season in a thrilling 27-24 victory, with Joe Flacco throwing for 168 yards and two touchdown passes. The Colts now sit in second place in the AFC South with a 2-2 record, showing signs of improvement.
On the other hand, the Jacksonville Jaguars have had a dismal season so far. They remain winless with a 0-4 record, currently at the bottom of the AFC South. Even the struggling Panthers have managed to notch a victory. The Jaguars are coming into this game after a 24-20 loss to the Houston Texans, where Trevor Lawrence threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win.
As for my prediction, I’d lean toward the Jaguars, but mainly because they’ll be playing at home. The last time these two teams met was in October 2023, with Jacksonville winning 37-20. It will be interesting to see if the Jaguars can finally turn their season around.
