Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons (Thursday, Oct 3rd)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into this matchup after an impressive 33-16 win over the Eagles, where Baker Mayfield threw for 347 yards and 2 touchdowns. Irving and Evans also each contributed a touchdown. The Bucs are having a strong season so far, sitting at the top of the NFC South with a 3-1 record, and I have to say, I love how they’re playing right now.
On the other side, the Atlanta Falcons pulled off a surprising 26-24 win against the Saints, with Kirk Cousins throwing for 238 yards. They’re currently in second place in the NFC South with a 2-2 record, and their recent performance has caught a lot of people off guard, myself included.
If I had to predict the outcome, I’d give the edge to the Bucs. Even though the Falcons are playing at home, I can’t see them beating Tampa Bay. These teams last met in December 2023, with the Bucs winning 29-25.
