NFL Picks Week 4: Saints vs Falcons
The Saints hit the road after a tough loss in their last outing, and now they’re gearing up to face the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Interestingly, both teams come into this game fresh off a defeat, making the stakes even higher. With the Falcons hosting, the big question is: which team will bounce back and secure the win? In this NFL Picks Week 4: Saints vs Falcons article, I’ll tell you all the information you need to know about this game.

New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons (Sunday, Sep 29th)
The New Orleans Saints come into this matchup off a narrow 15-12 loss at home to the Eagles. Despite Derek Carr throwing for 142 yards and a touchdown, it wasn’t enough to get them over the line. But there’s no denying it—this Saints team looks much improved compared to last year. With a solid 2-1 record, they’re showing the kind of form that could very well land them at the top of the NFC South.
On the other side, the Atlanta Falcons are also having a promising season. While they fell 22-17 to the Chiefs in their last game, they put up a strong fight. Kirk Cousins had a standout performance with 230 passing yards and a touchdown, and despite the loss, Atlanta has shown flashes of real potential. Currently sitting at 1-2, they’re third in the NFC South but certainly not out of the running.
If I had to pick a winner, I’d lean toward the Saints. Yes, the Falcons are the favorites, especially with home-field advantage, but I think New Orleans has the momentum to pull off an upset. The Saints won the last meeting between these two teams back in January in dominant fashion, 48-17, and that confidence could carry over.
My pick: The New Orleans Saints to win this game.
