Jacksonville Jaguars vs Houston Texans (Sunday, Sep 29th)
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been among the most disappointing teams in recent NFL history. After a crushing 47-10 defeat to the Buffalo Bills, the Jaguars now find themselves at the bottom of the AFC South, with a dismal record of 0-3. Not only have they failed to secure a single win so far this season, but they’ve also struggled on both sides of the ball, ranking among the league’s weakest teams defensively and offensively.
On the other hand, the Houston Texans are enjoying a more promising start. They currently sit at the top of the AFC South with a respectable 2-1 record, though their recent 34-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings has certainly raised some eyebrows. The Vikings have been playing exceptionally well, so it wasn’t entirely surprising. Still, I expected a bit more fight from this Texans team, especially given their strong start to the season.
Predicting the outcome of this upcoming game is tricky. While the Jaguars enter as heavy underdogs, I have a feeling they’ll be eager to silence their critics and earn their first win of the season. The last time these two teams met, back in November 2023, the Jaguars came out on top with a narrow 24-21 victory. With that in mind, it wouldn’t be shocking to see them rise to the occasion again.
