Cincinnati Bengals vs Carolina Panthers (Sunday, Sep 29th)
If someone had told me that the Bengals would be winless by Week 4 of the season, I would have laughed in their face. Yet here we are, not only have they lost every game, but they also have one of the worst defensive lines in the NFL. Their most recent home game was a disaster, as they were beaten by the Washington Commanders 38-33. Despite Joe Burrow’s impressive performance—throwing for 324 yards and 3 touchdowns—it wasn’t enough to stop the Commanders’ offense, led by Jayden Daniels. Daniels threw for 254 yards, 2 touchdowns, and added 39 rushing yards with 1 rushing touchdown. Now, the Bengals sit at the bottom of the AFC North with a record of 0-3 and will need significant improvement if they want to climb to the top of the division.
On the other hand, the Panthers shocked everyone by defeating the Raiders 36-22, a result few saw coming. Although they remain at the bottom of the NFC South with a 1-2 record, they can take pride in their recent win.
Predicting the outcome of this game isn’t difficult. I firmly believe the Bengals will secure their first win of the season against the Panthers without much trouble. The last time these teams met, was in November 2022, the Bengals won 42-21.
