Houston Texans vs Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, Sep 22th)
The Houston Texans are off to an incredible start this season, remaining undefeated after two games. Their latest victory came in a hard-fought 19-13 win over the Chicago Bears, where rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud impressed with 260 passing yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Nico Collins also made a big impact, racking up 135 yards and a touchdown. This strong performance has propelled the Texans to the top of the AFC South with a perfect 2-0 record.
On the other hand, the Minnesota Vikings have been just as impressive, staying unbeaten as well. I’ve got to say, I love how they’re playing right now. Their most recent win was a thrilling 23-17 upset over the San Francisco 49ers, which many considered the biggest surprise of Week 2, aside from the Eagles’ unexpected loss to the Falcons. The Vikings now sit comfortably atop the NFC North, also boasting a 2-0 record.
Predicting this upcoming matchup between the Texans and Vikings is no easy task. Both teams are playing exceptionally well, and this could easily go either way. However, despite the Texans being on the road, I believe they have the upper hand. The sportsbooks seem to agree, as the Texans are favored to win. The last time these two teams met was back in October 2020, when the Vikings emerged victorious with a 31-23 win.
