The Titans will be hosting their upcoming game against the Packers. Even though they lost their last two games, they are still the favorites according to the sportsbooks. Green Bay Packers vs Tennessee Titans (Sunday, Sep 22th)
After losing Jordan Love in their first game against the Eagles, many—including myself—thought the Packers were unlikely to secure another win. However, they defied expectations with an impressive 16-10 victory at home against the Colts, where Malik Willis threw for 122 yards and a touchdown. Now, the Packers are heading on the road as underdogs, but if they play well, they could surprise everyone. Currently, they sit in 4th place in the NFC North with a record of 1 win and 1 loss.
On the other hand, the Titans are having a tough season. They’re at the bottom of the AFC South, still searching for their first win. Their latest defeat came against the Jets, who won 24-17 despite Will Levis’s solid performance of 192 passing yards and a touchdown. The Titans struggled against the Jets’ offense, particularly on a day when Aaron Rodgers was particularly effective.
If I had to make a choice for this game, I’d lean toward the Titans, mainly because they’re playing at home. However, if Jordan Love is available to play, I might reconsider and favor the Packers. For now, though, I think the Titans will edge out a win in front of their home fans. The last time these two teams met was in November 2022, with the Titans coming out on top 27-17.
