Los Angeles Chargers vs Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday, Sep 22th)
The Los Angeles Chargers are in excellent form as they head into this matchup, riding the momentum of back-to-back victories. Their most recent triumph was a commanding 26-3 win over the Carolina Panthers, where Justin Herbert threw for 130 passing yards and delivered two touchdown passes. Quentin Johnston also had a standout performance, contributing with two touchdown receptions of his own. With these impressive performances, the Chargers currently sit atop the AFC West with a flawless 2-0 record.
On the other hand, the Pittsburgh Steelers are also enjoying a strong start to their season, having won their last two games. Their most recent victory came in a 13-6 defensive battle against the Denver Broncos, with Justin Fields leading the offense and throwing for 117 passing yards. Like the Chargers, the Steelers are undefeated with a 2-0 record and lead the AFC North. Heading into this game, they are widely considered the favorites, thanks to their balanced squad and solid performances on both sides of the ball.
If I had to predict this matchup, I would lean toward the Steelers. While the Chargers are certainly in great form, I believe Pittsburgh’s overall depth and stronger roster give them the edge.
