Chicago Bears vs Indianapolis Colts (Sunday, Sep 22th)
The Chicago Bears hit the road after a tough 19-13 loss to the Houston Texans in their most recent outing. Defensively, they struggled, with Caleb Williams standing out for the wrong reasons. He was intercepted twice and couldn’t deliver a single touchdown pass, a concerning performance for the team. Despite their defensive lapses, the Bears currently sit in third place in the NFC North with a 1-0 record.
On the other hand, the Indianapolis Colts find themselves in even worse shape. They are coming off yet another defeat, falling to the Green Bay Packers 16-10. Expectations were higher for Anthony Richardson, who threw three interceptions despite completing 204 passing yards and securing one touchdown pass. His inconsistent performance contributed significantly to the team’s disappointment that day. The Colts are now at the bottom of the AFC South, winless with a 0-2 record.
If I were to predict the outcome of this upcoming game, I’d lean toward the Colts securing the win. Despite their back-to-back losses, I believe they’ll rally and deliver a performance worthy of their home crowd on Sunday. The last time these two teams met was in August 2023, with the Colts emerging victorious by a score of 24-17. I expect them to use that as motivation to bounce back.
