San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, Sep 22th)
The San Francisco 49ers are coming into this game after a 23-17 loss to the Vikings, and I have to say, I was expecting more from them. Even though Brock Purdy threw for 319 yards and 1 touchdown, and Jordan Mason added 100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown, it wasn’t enough to stop the Vikings’ offense. One thing is clear: the 49ers currently sit in 3rd place in the NFC West with a 1-1 record and are the favorites to win this matchup.
On the other hand, the Rams have struggled badly, still winless with a 0-2 record, placing them at the bottom of the NFC West. In their most recent game, many—including myself—expected a strong performance against the Arizona Cardinals, but they were blown out 41-10, with Matthew Stafford managing only 216 passing yards.
If I had to make a prediction for this game, I’d go with the 49ers. The Rams have been playing poorly lately, and I can’t see them getting the win, even with home-field advantage. The last time these two teams met was back in January 2024, when the Rams won 21-10.
