Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals (Sunday, Sep 15th)
The Los Angeles Rams head into this matchup following a tough 26-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. Despite Matthew Stafford’s impressive 317 passing yards and a touchdown, along with Kyren Williams and Cooper Kupp each adding a touchdown, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Lions’ high-powered offense, which ranks among the best in the NFL. The Rams now find themselves at the bottom of the NFC West with a record of 0-1.
Similarly, the Arizona Cardinals are also coming off a loss, falling to the Buffalo Bills 34-28, despite holding a significant lead early on. Although the Cardinals entered the game as underdogs, I expected more maturity and composure from the team, especially in crucial moments. Kyler Murray was a standout, contributing 162 passing yards and a touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a late-game collapse. The Cardinals currently sit in third place in the NFC West with the same 0-1 record.
This is one of those games where either team could come away with the win, making it a difficult call. While the Cardinals have home-field advantage, I believe the Rams have a strong chance to secure the victory—if they can avoid the mistakes that cost them in their last outing. The last time these two teams met, back in November 2023, the Rams dominated with a 37-14 win.
