Las Vegas Raiders vs Baltimore Ravens (Sunday, Sep 15th)
First of all, I expected a bit more from the Las Vegas Raiders, who fell short in their season opener against the Chargers, losing 22-10. While Gardner and Zamir White showed flashes of promise, their efforts weren’t enough to break through the Chargers’ strong defense. With this loss, the Raiders find themselves at the bottom of the AFC West, starting their campaign at 0-1.
Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens put up a solid fight against the Kansas City Chiefs at home, though they ultimately lost 27-20. The Chiefs had a stroke of luck in the final moments, narrowly escaping a Ravens’ potential game-tying touchdown that was ruled out. Still, Lamar Jackson had an impressive performance, racking up 273 passing yards and a touchdown, while Isaiah Likely contributed 111 yards and a touchdown of his own. The Ravens are now sitting third in the AFC North with a 0-1 record.
If I had to make a prediction, I’d give the edge to the Ravens. I don’t see the Raiders pulling off a win on the road, especially given their struggles so far. The last time these two teams met was back in September 2021, when the Raiders came out on top 33-27, but this time, the momentum seems to favor Baltimore.
My pick: The Baltimore Ravens to win this game.
