Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants (Sunday, Oct 22nd)
The Commanders enter this match on the heels of an impressive victory over the Falcons, winning 24-16. Quarterback S. Howell played a pivotal role, completing 151 yards and delivering 3 touchdown passes, securing their third-place position in the NFC East. However, the team’s performance isn’t without its challenges. They’re currently averaging 22.2 points per game while allowing a concerning 29.3, making their defence one of the weakest in the league.
In contrast, the Giants have struggled this season, sitting at the bottom of the NFC East with only one win. To make matters worse, they’ve lost their last four games, with their latest defeat being against the Bills, ending 14-9. Offensively, the Giants have their work cut out for them, averaging just 11.8 points per game, the worst in the league. On the defensive side, they’re allowing 27.8 points per game.
Considering the current form and statistics, it’s not difficult to predict the outcome of this game. Even though the Giants will have the home advantage, it’s unlikely they’ll come out on top against the Commanders. The last meeting between these two teams was in December 2022, with the Giants winning 20-12.
My pick: The Washington Commanders to win this game with a point spread of -2.5 (-116 at BetDukes).

Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots (Sunday, Oct 22nd)
The New England Patriots are enduring one of their worst starts to a season in recent memory. They currently sit at the bottom of the AFC East division with a record of just one win and five losses. Despite their strong performance in their last game against the Raiders, where they played well but couldn’t overcome the Raiders’ offence, losing by a score of 21-17, the Patriots face an uphill battle. Currently, their offence is struggling, averaging only 12 points per game, the second worst in the league, while their defence is allowing an average of 25.3 points per game.
On the other side of the field, the Bills enter this match on a high note after a convincing win over the Giants. In that game, J. Allen had an impressive performance, completing 169 yards and delivering 2 touchdown passes. This victory places the Bills in second place in the AFC East with a record of 4 wins and 2 losses. The Bills boast one of the league’s most potent offences, averaging 28.8 points per game, while their defence is equally commendable, allowing just 14.8 points per game.
Adding to the intrigue, this game features a long-standing and heated rivalry that has grown over the years. If we had to make a prediction, it would lean in favour of the Bills. In their last encounter in January 2023, the Bills emerged victorious with a score of 35-23.
My pick: The Buffalo Bills with a point spread of -8.5 (-111 at BetOBet).

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, Oct 22nd)
The Pittsburgh Steelers are having a reasonably strong season thus far, currently holding second place in the AFC North division with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses. Despite occasional moments of inconsistency, they enter this match with confidence after a notable victory over the Ravens. Quarterback K. Pickett played a pivotal role in this victory, completing 224 yards and delivering one touchdown pass. However, when analyzing their season statistics, the Steelers are averaging just 15.8 points per game, making them the third-worst offence in the league, while their defence allows an average of 22 points per game.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams have had a decent season, currently occupying the third spot in the NFC West division with a record of 3 wins and 3 losses. They head into this match on a high note after defeating the Cardinals with a score of 26-9, led by quarterback M. Stafford, who completed 226 yards and delivered one touchdown pass. Offensively, the Rams tend to score an average of 23 points per game, while their defence allows an average of 19.5 points per game.
Predicting the outcome of this game is challenging, as both teams have shown promise this season. However, considering that the Rams have the home-field advantage, they may have the edge. The last time these two teams faced each other was in 2019, with the Steelers winning 17-12.
My pick: The Los Angeles Rams with a point spread of -3 (-119 at iBet).

Miami Dolphins vs Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, Oct 22nd)
The Miami Dolphins are enjoying an outstanding season, currently sitting at the top of the AFC East with an impressive record of 5 wins and only 1 loss. They enter this match on the back of a dominant performance, defeating the Carolina Panthers with a score of 42-21. Quarterback T. Tagovailoa played a crucial role, completing 262 yards and delivering 3 touchdown passes. In terms of stats, the Dolphins tend to make 37.2 points per game, while allowing an average of 26.
On the other hand, the Philadelphia Eagles are also having a strong season, but they come into this match after an unexpected loss to the New York Jets with a score of 20-14. Nonetheless, they maintain their position at the top of the NFC East with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. Analyzing their statistics, the Eagles are averaging 25.8 points per game while allowing 20.7 points, an area they will need to improve in the near future.
It’s challenging to predict the outcome of this matchup. However, if I had to choose a team, I would lean towards the Eagles. In their most recent encounter in August 2022, the Dolphins secured a decisive victory, winning 48-10.
My pick: The Philadelphia Eagles to win this game with a point spread of -2.5 (-114 at iBet).

San Francisco 49ers vs Minnesota VikingsĀ (Monday, Oct 23rd)
While the Vikings are entering this match with a recent victory over the Bears, their overall performance this season hasn’t been stellar. They currently sit in third place in the NFC North with a record of 2 wins and 4 losses. Offensively, they’ve held their own, averaging 21.5 points per game. However, their defence has been a concern, allowing an average of 22.5 points.
In contrast, the 49ers have had an impressive season, despite a recent loss to the Browns with a score of 19-17. They maintain their position at the top of the NFC West with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. Examining their statistics, the 49ers boast the second-best offence in the league, scoring an average of 30.7 points per game, while they also have the league’s best defence, allowing only 14.5 points.
This upcoming match promises to be a great contest. The Vikings will undoubtedly give their all in front of their home crowd, but the San Francisco 49ers are in excellent form. Given their recent performance, it appears the 49ers may have the edge. In their last encounter in August 2022, the 49ers emerged victorious with a score of 17-7.
My pick: The San Francisco 49ers with a point spread of -6.5 (-116 at BetOBet).
