NFL Picks and Bets Week 18
The NFL regular season will conclude this weekend, and these final matches will be crucial in determining which teams will make it to the playoffs and which won’t. We will also have a great rivalry match between two teams that have been rivals from the beginning of the sport, the Packers against the Bears. Which team will you be watching? In this NFL Picks and Bets Week 18 article, I’ll share my top four game predictions for this weekend.

Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts (Saturday, Jan 6th)
The AFC South has proven to be the most competitive division this season, and it comes as no surprise that the Houston Texans are contributing to this competitiveness. Currently holding the third place with a record of 9 wins and 7 losses, they still have a chance of making it to the playoffs. However, if the season were to end today, they would be eliminated. Yet, a victory in the upcoming match could significantly improve their playoff prospects. When it comes to their stats, they tend to score an average of 22.1 points per game while allowing 20.9.
On the flip side, the Indianapolis Colts share the same record as the Texans. However, if the season were to end today, the Colts would secure a playoff spot. Even so, their fate hinges on winning the upcoming match; a loss would mean elimination. The team’s success this season is largely attributed to their offence, averaging 23.6 points per game. Nevertheless, their defence has been a weak point, allowing an average of 24.5 points.Ā
This match promises to be one of the best of the weekend and that shouldnāt be a surprise because there are a lot of things in line. If I had to make a prediction I would go with the Colts to win it, just because they are playing in their home stadium. The last time that these two faced each other was back in September with the Colts winning the game by 31-20.
My pick: The Indianapolis Colts to win this game with a point spread of +1 (-110 at BetOBet).

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans (Sunday, Jan 7th)
The Jacksonville Jaguars had a fantastic start to the season, nonetheless, they lost momentum in the last few matches. Now, they must win this one to secure a spot in the playoffs. Currently leading the AFC South with a record of 9 wins and 7 losses, they are the big favourites to win this match. However, it’s worth mentioning that they won’t be playing in their home stadium. In terms of statistics, they tend to score an average of 22.3 points per game while allowing 21.4
On the flip side, the Tennessee Titans are already out of the playoffs, and they donāt have anything to gain in this match. However, I’m sure that they donāt want to disappoint their fans in the last game of the season. Much of their lack of success can be attributed to their offence, as they only tend to score an average of 17.3 points per game, one of the lowest in the league. Nevertheless, their defence is doing a better job, allowing an average of 21.7 points.
This match will be a hell of fun, and I have a feeling that the Titans will do everything they can to stop the Jaguars from getting a playoff spot. Still, the Jaguars have been one of the most exciting teams to watch this season, so if I had to make a choice, I would go with them to win this one.
My pick: The Jacksonville Jaguars with a moneyline bet of -209 at BetOBet).

Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints (Sunday, Jan 7th)
The Atlanta Falcons are currently in a precarious situation, nearly out of the playoffs this season. Things are so dire that even if they win the upcoming match, their chances of making it to the playoffs will be only 36%. None of this should come as a surprise, given the inconsistent season they’ve had this year. They currently hold the 3rd place in the AFC South with a record of 7 wins and 9 losses. While their defence has been impressive, allowing an average of 20.3 points per game, their offence has struggled, scoring only 19 points per game.
In contrast, the New Orleans Saints are also in a difficult situation, currently holding the 2nd place in the NFC South with a record of 8 wins and 8 losses. Even if they win the upcoming match, their chances of making it to the playoffs will only increase to 51%. One thing is certain: their defence has been one of their biggest achievements this year, allowing an average of only 19.4 points per game. Meanwhile, their offence is also performing well, scoring 22.1 points on average.
The Saints will be playing in their home stadium, so it shouldnāt be a surprise that they are the big favourites to come out on top. The last time these two teams faced each other was back in November, with the Falcons winning by 24-15.
My pick: The New Orleans Saints with a point spread of -3 (-109 at iBet).

Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers (Sunday, Jan 7th)
The Chicago Bears are once again out of the playoffs, and I donāt think it should come as a surprise given how poorly they’ve performed this season. Nevertheless, one thing I’m certain of is that they will want to end the season with a victory over the Green Bay Packers in their last match. When it comes to their stats, they tend to score an average of 21.9 points per game while allowing an average of 22.6.
Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers still have an opportunity to make it to the playoffs, albeit with low chances. If they win this one, they have a 64% chance of making it, currently standing in 2nd place in the AFC North with a record of 8 wins and 8 losses. Most of their success this season can be attributed to their offence, scoring an average of 22.9 points per game. However, their defence needs some improvements, as they tend to allow an average of 21.3.
This match is without a doubt the best one of this weekend because of the intense rivalry between these two, if I had to make a prediction I would go with the Packers to win it, however, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bears managed to make an upset. The last time that these two faced each other was back in September with the Packers winning it for 38-20.
My pick: The Green Bay Packers to win this game with a point spread of -3 (-104 at iBet).
