If you would like to place bets on the game check out our sports betting page. (non-Ontario).
Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers (Saturday, Dec 23rd)
The Cincinnati Bengals are almost out of the playoffs, however, one thing is certain, if they manage to win their next 3 matches, they will be able to make it. Nevertheless, thatās not an easy task given that the main quarterback Joe Burrow will be out until the end of the season. The Bengals are coming into this match after winning their last 3 matches, the last one against the Vikings by 27-24 with Jake Browning making 234 yards and 2 touchdowns. However, they are still in 3rd place in the AFC North with a record of 8 wins and 6 losses. When it comes to their stats, they tend to make an average of 21.9 points per game while allowing an average of 22.2.
On the other hand, the chances of the Pittsburgh Steelers making it to the playoffs are even lower than the Bengals, as they are currently at the bottom of the AFC North with a record of 7 wins and 7 losses. The Steelers are coming into this match after losing their last 3 matches, the last one against the Colts by 30-13. Most of their issues can be attributed to their offence, as they only tend to allow an average of 15.9 points per game, which is one of the lowest in the league. When it comes to their defence, they have been amazing, as they only tend to allow an average of 20.
I donāt think itās hard to predict this one, the Bengals are coming into this match very confident after winning their last matches. Even though the Steelers are playing in their home stadium, I canāt see them winning this one. They last faced each other in November, with the Steelers winning the game by 16-10.
My pick: The Cincinnati Bengals to win this game with a point spread of -2.5 (-126 at BetOBet).

Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, Dec 24th)
The Detroit Lions have been amazing so far this season, and they are very close to making it to the playoffs. Currently at the top of the NFC North with a record of 10 wins and 4 losses, they enter this match after a great win over the Denver Broncos by 42-17, with Jared Goff completing 278 yards and 5 touchdown passes. When it comes to their stats, their offence has been the key to their success this season, scoring an average of 27.3 points per game, the fifth-best in the league. Nevertheless, their defence needs some improvements, as they tend to allow an average of 23.6 points per game.
On the flip side, the Minnesota Vikings have had a disappointing season, with their main quarterback, Kirk Cousins, sidelined due to injury until the end of the season. Despite the setback, the Vikings still have a chance to make it to the playoffs, currently holding the second spot in the NFC North with a record of 7 wins and 7 losses. They enter this match after a recent loss to the Bengals by 27-24. In terms of their stats, their defence has been impressive, allowing an average of only 19.2 points per game. However, they face challenges on the offensive end, averaging only 20.7 points.
The Lions are the big favourites to win this match, and that shouldnāt be a surprise considering how well they have performed this season. It’s also important to mention that the Vikings will be playing in their home stadium, which is never easy for the opponents. They last faced each other in December 2022, with the Lions winning the game by 34-23.
My pick: The Detroit Lions with a moneyline bet of -166 at BetOBet).

Seattle Seahawks vs Tennessee Titans (Sunday, Dec 24th)
The Seattle Seahawks are heading into the next game on a high note after beating the Eagles 20-17. This win puts them in a good spot for the playoffs, sitting in 3rd place in the NFC with a 7-7 record. If they can pull off wins in their next three games, they’ll have a whopping 99% chance of making it to the playoffs. They have room for improvement in their performance, currently averaging 21.4 points scored and conceding 23.9.
In contrast, the Tennessee Titans won’t be making it to the playoffs this time. They lost their last game to the Texans 19-16, putting them at the bottom of the AFC South with a 5-9 record. Their offence hasn’t been impressive, averaging only 18.4 points per game while allowing 21.5.
Predicting this game is pretty straightforward. The Titans don’t have anything to play for in terms of the playoffs so I think the Seahawks will get the win. Looking back at their last face-off in September 2021, the Titans came out on top with a 33-30 win.
My pick: The Seattle Seahawks with a point spread of -3 (-119 at iBet).

Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs (Monday, Dec 25th)
The Las Vegas Raiders are on the verge of missing the playoffs unless they can secure victories in their next three matches against the Chiefs, Colts, and the Broncos. Currently, they occupy the 3rd place in the AFC West with a record of 6 wins and 8 losses. They enter this match following an impressive 63-21 victory over the Chargers. Defensively, they have excelled, allowing an average of only 20 points per game. However, their offence requires improvement, with an average score of 18.9, one of the lowest in the league.
In contrast, the Kansas City Chiefs come into this match on the heels of a significant 27-17 win against the Patriots, securing their position at the top of their division with a 9-5 record. Their playoff chances stand at a robust 99%. Notably, their defensive prowess is a key factor, allowing an average of only 17.5 points per game, while their offence maintains an average of 22.8.
Given that the Chiefs will be playing in their home stadium, it’s challenging to envision the Raiders emerging victorious. If I were to make a prediction, I would favour the Chiefs in this matchup. The last encounter between these two teams took place in November, with the Chiefs winning by a score of 31-17.
My pick: The Kansas City Chiefs to win this game with a point spread of -10 (-109 at iBet).

New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles (Monday, Dec 25th)
The New York Giants have already been eliminated from playoff contention, holding the 3rd place in the NFC East with a record of 5 wins and 9 losses. They enter this match following a defeat against the Saints by 24-6. Even if they win all the remaining matches in the regular season, it won’t be sufficient to secure a postseason spot. The Giants’ offence has been a significant challenge, scoring an average of only 13.5 points, the second-worst in the league. Their defence has also struggled, allowing an average of 24.1 points.
On the flip side, the Philadelphia Eagles have already secured a playoff spot. However, their recent performance has been less than stellar, with three consecutive losses, including the latest one against the Seahawks by 20-17. Despite a commendable offensive output, averaging 25.6 points per game, their defence tends to allow an average of 24.4 points, one of the lowest in the league.
The last encounter between these two teams took place in January of this year, with the Eagles winning by a score of 38-7. If I were to predict the winner of this game, I would lean towards the Eagles.
My pick: The Philadelphia Eagles with a point spread of -13.5 (-111 at BetOBet).
