About theScore Bet

TheScore is a very popular mobile app. It delivers breaking sports news, betting odds, alerts, and more may be known to some readers. The mobile app “theScore”, has long been a helpful companion for sports bettors on the go. And it is now attempting to connect sports news with sports wagers. TheScore, a provider of online gambling to NJ casinos, announced its intention to develop a mobile betting app in the state and elsewhere as legislation expands across the country at the end of 2018.

On August 26th, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement approved theScore to operate online and mobile betting after a successful soft launch. It’s time for a comprehensive theScore bet app review after we’ve had a chance to test out the betting app ourselves. If you want to see it in action for yourself, the app is available in the App Store or on theScore.bet. Don’t hesitate to get download links and information.

theScore Bet Sportsbook: What to Expect?

The score initially offered a limited number of North American sports, as well as soccer and conventional types of bets. The inclusion of additional sports such as golf, tennis, and MMA was delayed at first, despite plans to cover them.

Fans from all over the country can use theScore Bet to check lines. They can also take advantage of cross-app integration between the betting site and the normal sports media app. TheScore notes that it has “stepped up their game” with a number of major changes. Theses changes include the introduction of in-play betting, early cashout, and more. Here are a couple of the recent or soon-to-come features:

  • TheScore’s betting and media applications are cross-app linked.
  • Live betting
  • Early cashout
  • With real-time updates and odds changes, you may keep an eye on your wagers in the media app.
  • Between the two applications, you’ll find comprehensive game overviews and betting information.
  • Between both apps, sync your betting preferences and favorite teams.
  • Inside the betting app, you’ll get live scoring updates.

In August 2021, Penn National Gaming completed the acquisition of theScore. The agreement unites theScore Bet with its media arms. It gives Penn National access to proprietary sports betting technology, popular news coverage, and seasoned sports betting writers and developers.

theScore bet app is a sportsbook run by a subscription service that remains independent for the time being. However further adjustments are possible after the merger is complete in Q1 2022.

theScore Bet in Canada

Along with the rest of Canada, Ontario is preparing to legalize sports betting. It appears that they’ll be one of the first and most experienced suppliers in the country. We’re happy for theScore Bet to join the Canadian sports betting market in a new collaboration with Penn National. They already own Barstool Sports and a number of other top-performing iGaming and sports betting platforms in North America and abroad.

According to the news that’s currently accessible, it appears as though Penn National may use theScore Bet as their primary branding for all of their iGaming and sports betting services in Canada, at least. We’ll let you know if anything changes on the Canadian and/or American side. Especially when the acquisition of theScore Bet mobile app by Penn is completed.

theScore Bet Welcome Bonus

Make your first wager and receive a Bonus of up to $500. You can convert it to cash if you continued to wager. Over the next 14 days, earn 10% cashback on all qualifying bets – win, lose or draw – in Colorado and New Jersey (only)!

The “Promotion Reward” is a single Bonus worth $500. It is equal to 100% of the Qualifying Bet amount up to a maximum Bonus value of $500. The Sports Bonus will be paid out in cash at a rate of 10% of the wagered amount on cash wagers with odds greater than -300 (e.g., -200 odds or +200 odds would qualify). During the Cashback Period, participants will have 14 days to use their Bonus balance to place cash wagers and earn money.

If a participant cashes out of any wager that was used to open the Bonus, their bonus balance will be credited with the amount of money they would have won had they not cashed out. If the Bonus is still available during the Cashback Period after a player has used their cash credit, they may re-trigger it by placing a cash bet.

A Bonus is “available” if it hasn’t been redeemed, the money hasn’t been completely claimed, it hasn’t been opted out of, or it hasn’t been taken back in accordance with the Promotion Terms. If any Bonus balance remains locked at the end of the Cashback Period, it will be lost. The Promotion Reward is not transferable.

theScore Bet Customer Service

The ‘theScore Bet’ FAQ section is rather bare, with just seven key inquiries addressed. We had to wander all over the place before we could find answers to basic inquiries, such as how to make a withdrawal or what the wagering conditions were.

They were polite and as helpful as feasible, whether over the phone or through emails, when we did deal with customer service. Overall, we’d want to see more information in the FAQ section and some additional immediate assistance options. Customer support channels are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Users may always get in touch with the support team directly or use the help center, which is available and has many resources.

theScore Sportsbook Mobile App

theScore.bet is available for download on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android users in USA and Canada. Customers may only bet through the mobile app at this time. A user-friendly website interface has not yet been out on the market. Players using iPhone / iPad can download theScore by searching for “theScore Bet” in the App Store.

If you search for theScore in the Google Play Store, standard news app appears to be first. You’ll need to look for theScore Bet. Google now allows gambling apps on the Play Store, but Android users may still download them directly from theScore.bet. The first impression we get of theScore Bet is that it’s a sleek and uncomplicated mobile sportsbook.

The major professional and college North American sports, as well as international soccer, are the primary themes of the sports section. The app has a lot of extra features and even the sorts of bets that may be made are still restricted in comparison to other competitors, but we do know that theScore has plenty of potential from its feature-rich sports news application. BetWorks’ software is used by theScore, which is a company that’s relatively young but has a lot of experience.

In our view, the current online sports betting apps go too far in one direction. However, we believe that as a sports betting company, the company will progress over time and become more sophisticated. However, a closer examination under the hood reveals some unique features – particularly those that make use of theScore’s existing sports media capabilities.

Payment and Banking Options

TheScore bet Canada is a well-known, established brand in sports news and media, with an Android and iOS app that has obtained numerous gambling licenses. The service is not only secure but also easy to use for customers who want to place bets on their favourite sports events. Customers may feel confident that they will be dealt with fairly by theScore bet sportsbook.

The cross-application connection between theScore’s sports betting and news applications is nifty, but it appears more like a gimmick than a game changer. TheScore is a typical sportsbook with a decent wagering selection, in-play betting, thorough handicapping information, and timely updates such as injury reports in other areas.

The theScore Bet app was licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) and subsequently went live in Colorado and Indiana with respective regulatory permissions. The mobile app allows you to conduct secure transactions and bank deposits.

Conclusion

In our opinion, theScore Bet delivers an interesting and highly functional mobile-focused sportsbook experience. From our time testing the platform, we found it to be well-suited for bettors who enjoy wagering on a wide range of sports year-round. While it’s currently available in states like New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana, and Iowa, its upcoming expansion into Canada will likely make it even more popular among sports fans.

One of the standout features, in our experience, is theScore Bet’s competitive odds, particularly for NFL games. The platform consistently ranks among the best in the market for sharp lines, appealing to more seasoned bettors looking for value. Additionally, its integration with theScore’s media app makes it one of the few sportsbooks that successfully combines gaming and sports news in a single ecosystem. The new bet tracking feature within the app adds convenience, allowing users to follow their wagers while staying updated on scores and news without needing to switch platforms.

Customer service also left a strong impression on us. The support team was friendly, responsive, and ready to assist through live chat, phone, or email, making it easy to resolve any questions. That said, the lack of a desktop client or web-based version may be a downside for some users. However, theScore Bet’s mobile app caters perfectly to those who prefer betting on the go, especially fans already familiar with theScore’s sports app.

In our view, theScore Bet is an excellent choice for mobile-focused bettors and sports enthusiasts who value the convenience of an all-in-one platform. While it has room to grow, especially in offering a desktop version, it’s clear that theScore Bet is carving out its place in the online sportsbook market with thoughtful features and great service. If you’re someone who enjoys mobile betting with a side of sports updates, this app is worth your time.
