Los Angeles Rams vs Detroit Lions (Sunday, Sep 8th)
The Los Angeles Rams had an impressive preseason, securing victories in their first two games against the Cowboys and Chargers. However, they stumbled in their most recent outing, losing a close game to the Texans, 17-15. Heading into this matchup, they’ll be missing some key players due to injuries, including Dylan Horton, Brandon Hill, and Kurt Hinish.
On the other hand, the Detroit Lions are coming in as heavy favorites, and it’s easy to see why. They’ve been a strong team in recent years, so it’s no surprise they’re considered contenders to win their division. The Lions are riding high after a solid 24-17 win over the Steelers. Unfortunately, they’re dealing with a few injuries as well, with David Bada, John Cominsky, and Brodric Martin expected to miss this game.
If I had to predict the outcome, I’d confidently pick the Lions to come out on top, especially with home-field advantage. I just don’t see the Rams overcoming the Lions in their own stadium. The last time these two teams met was back in January of this year when the Lions narrowly edged out a 24-23 victory.
