Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts (Sunday, Sep 8th)
After an incredible preseason, the Houston Texans are among the top favorites to make a great run this season. With C.J. Stroud as their main quarterback, anything is possible. Coming into this matchup after a strong 28-10 win over the Giants, the Texans are poised to start the official season with a victory over the Colts. While I know it won’t be easy, their new wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, gives them one of the strongest offensive lineups in the NFL.
On the other hand, the Colts weren’t bad either, winning two preseason games, including a 27-14 victory over the Bengals. Expectations are high for the Colts as well, especially given their significant improvement over the past few years. There’s a feeling that they could achieve something big this season. However, it’s important to note that key players like Cameron McGrone and Samson Ebukam won’t be on the field due to injuries.
If I had to make a call for this game, I’d go with the Texans. I genuinely believe they will be among the top five teams this season, so I can’t see them losing this game.
