The Panthers are entering the game with a revamped offensive line and the formidable duo of Derrick Brown and Chuba Hubbard, who are expected to pose a significant challenge for the Saints. However, Carolina is grappling with a long list of injured players. Including key names like Tyler Smith, Jaden Crumedy, Dane Jackson, and Sam Franklin Jr., which could hinder their performance.
Meanwhile, the Saints are coming into this matchup as the clear favorites,due to the advantage of playing at home. Despite a close 30-27 loss to the Titans in their most recent game, where Spencer Rattler threw for 105 yards and a touchdown, the Saints remain a strong contender. However, they too are dealing with injuries. Rejzohn Wright, Nephi Sewell, and Camron Peterson all unavailable for the upcoming game.
If I had to make a prediction, I’d lean toward the Saints. The Panthers are dealing with too many injuries to be at their best, making it difficult to see them overcoming the odds. The last time these two teams met, in December 2023, the Saints dominated with a 28-6 victory.
