Yesterday, I had a fantastic time watching the Pittsburgh Steelers achieve an unexpected victory against the Tennessee Titans. The game was intense, and the outcome took me by surprise. In this NFL Picks and Bets Week 9 article, I’ll share my top five game predictions for this weekend and let you know where you can find the best odds.

Miami Dolphins vs Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, Nov 5th)
The Miami Dolphins are having an outstanding season, currently leading the AFC East with a record of 6 wins and 2 losses. While their defence remains a concern, allowing an average of 25.5 points per game, their offence has been exceptional, leading the league by scoring an average of 33.9 points per game.
On the other hand, the Kansas City Chiefs are also having a strong season. However, they come into this match on the heels of an unexpected 24-9 loss to the Denver Broncos. Currently leading the AFC West with a 6-2 record, the Chiefs’ offence hasn’t been as prolific this year, averaging only 23.4 points per game. Surprisingly, they possess the second-best defence in the league, allowing an average of just 16.1 points per game.
This weekend’s matchup is one of the most anticipated games, and it will be intriguing to see how the Chiefs rebound after their recent loss. While my prediction leans toward the Chiefs as the victors, it’s important to remember that anything can happen in football. The last time these two teams met was in December 2020, resulting in a 33-27 victory for the Chiefs.

Seattle Seahawks vs Baltimore Ravens (Sunday, Nov 5th)
The Seattle Seahawks have been a pleasant surprise this season, leading the NFC West with a 5-2 record. In their recent victory over the Browns, they won 24-20, with Geno Smith throwing for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns. When it comes to their style of play, the Seahawks are averaging 24 points per game while allowing an average of 19.7 points.
Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens are riding a wave of success, having won their last three matches, including a recent 31-24 victory over the Cardinals, where Lamar Jackson threw for 157 yards and 1 touchdown. The key to their successful season, in my opinion, has undoubtedly been their defence, which leads the league by allowing an average of just 15.1 points per game. On the offensive side, they are also performing well, scoring an average of 25.3 points per game.
It’s very hard to predict the outcome of this match since both teams are playing very well. However, if I had to make a prediction, I would go with the Ravens to win this one simply because they will be playing in their hometown. The last time these two teams faced each other was back in October 2019, with the Ravens winning 30-16.

Arizona Cardinals vs Cleveland Browns (Sunday, Nov 5th)
The Arizona Cardinals are facing a challenging season, and it’s increasingly unlikely they will make it to the playoffs. They currently reside at the bottom of the NFC West with a 1-7 record, having lost their last five games. Their statistics on both offence and defence tell a similar story, with an average of 18.9 points scored per game and 26.6 points allowed per game.
On the flip side, the Cleveland Browns are facing some challenges, though not to the extent of the Cardinals. They currently hold the third place in the AFC North with a 4-3 record, coming into this match after a 24-20 loss to the Seahawks. Despite Walker’s performance, where he completed 248 yards and 1 touchdown pass, it wasn’t enough to stop the Seahawks’ offence. In terms of statistics, the Browns are averaging 22 points per game while allowing 19.9.
I find it quite straightforward to predict the outcome of this game. With the Browns playing in front of their home fans, I can’t envision the Cardinals winning. The last time these two teams met was in 2021, with the Cardinals winning 37-14.

This season appears to be one of their worst in years, with most of their struggles attributed to their poor defence and offence. They’re only scoring an average of 18.1 points per game while allowing 28.4, ranking among the bottom three in the league.
The Colts are the clear favourites going into this match, given the Panthers’ current struggles. If I had to make a prediction, I’d go with the Colts. The last time these two teams met was in August 2021, with the Colts winning 21-18.

This match is challenging to predict as both teams have a chance to win. However, with the Eagles playing in their home stadium, I don’t see them losing this one. The last time these two teams met was in December 2022, with the Cowboys winning 40-34.
