Newcastle United vs Liverpool
The Newcastle against Liverpool fixture undoubtedly stands out as the best match of this weekend. While Newcastle triumphed in their opening match against Aston Villa at their home stadium, securing a convincing 5-1 victory, they could not overcome Manchester City in their most recent game. Despite an outstanding performance, it wasn’t sufficient to secure a win. As they prepare to face Liverpool in their home stadium, it’s noteworthy that the last time Liverpool played at Newcastle’s stadium, they emerged victorious with a score of 2-0. However, significant changes have occurred for Newcastle since then, leading me to believe they have a strong chance of clinching the win.
Liverpool’s start to the season was somewhat lacklustre, with a draw against Chelsea in their inaugural match. Nevertheless, they managed to bounce back with a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth. A positive development for Liverpool is the availability of Alexis Mac Allister, who successfully appealed against a red card in the previous game.
This upcoming match promises intrigue. If I had to choose a winner, I’d lean toward Newcastle.

Sheffield United vs Manchester City
Sheffield United haven’t started the Premier League very well, having already lost their first two matches. The first match was against Crystal Palace, resulting in a 1-0 loss, followed by a defeat against Nottingham Forest with a score of 2-1. Last year, they found themselves in a similar position by the end of the season, so it’s crucial for them to start accumulating points. Otherwise, they could face significant challenges.
Meanwhile, Manchester City is in excellent form, having won their first two Premier League matches against Burnley and Newcastle. Additionally, they secured victory in the Super Cup against Sevilla last week. In terms of transfers, it’s worth noting that Aymeric Laporte has departed the club, and João Cancelo is also likely to leave.
For the upcoming match, I believe Manchester City holds the advantage. The most recent encounter between these teams was in April during the FA Cup, with Manchester City emerging victorious with a score of 3-0.
My Pick: Manchester City Moneyline bet of -588 with iBet.

Arsenal vs Fulham
It seems like Arsenal is once again in the title fight this year. I know it might be a bit premature to claim that, but I’m really impressed with their style of play this season. Following their opening victory against Forest, Arsenal won Crystal Palace despite being down to ten players after Takehiro Tomiyasu’s dismissal. Unfortunately, Tomiyasu won’t be available for the upcoming match. On another note, Gabriel Jesus is still on the path to recovery and won’t be available for this match.
On the other hand, Fulham is holding their ground. Despite a recent 3-0 loss to Brentford in their home stadium, they surprised everyone by winning their first match against Everton, which caught me off guard. In terms of their squad, it’s worth noting that Aleksandar Mitrovic has already departed the club, leaving a gap that they’ll need to fill with a new striker soon.
The last time these two teams met was earlier this year, with Arsenal securing a 3-0 victory. Given their current strong performance, it’s hard to envision them losing this game.
My Pick: Arsenal Moneyline bet of -505 with BetOBet.
