Tottenham vs Manchester United

Tottenham’s season didn’t begin on a positive note as they played to a draw in their opening match against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium. Despite this result, I believe they put up a good performance. The defensive aspect of their play, however, might have been lacking. Notably, Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal were on the field during that match, and they were the ones who managed to find the back of the net.

Meanwhile, Manchester United enters this upcoming game on the back of a victory against Wolves at Old Trafford in their opening match of the season. Nonetheless, I must admit that my expectations were higher, considering the significant new acquisitions they’ve made for the team. The lone goal was netted by Rafael Varane, and were it not for their goalkeeper Andre Onana’s performance, I strongly believe they might have found themselves on the losing end of the match.

The most recent encounter between these two teams took place in April, resulting in a 2-2 draw. However, If I were to choose a side, I’d lean towards Tottenham to secure victory in this upcoming match. It seems that Manchester United has significant progress to make if they intend to position themselves as strong contenders in the ongoing season.

My Pick: Tottenham Moneyline bet of +188 with iBet.

Manchester City vs Newcastle United

Manchester City is on a hot streak, heading into this match fresh off their victory in the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla yesterday. To add to their momentum, they secured a win in their opening match of the season against Burnley, with Erling Haaland netting 2 goals. This time, they’re set to face Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium. However, it’s worth noting that Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne won’t be available for this match due to injuries.

Conversely, Newcastle also began the season on a high note, delivering a resounding 5-1 victory over Aston Villa in their home stadium. The team’s performance was impressive, with Sandro Tonali making a strong debut by scoring the opening goal in just the 6th minute. Isak, too, shone brightly, securing two goals during the match.

Their most recent encounter was in March of this year, where Manchester City emerged victorious with a 2-0 scoreline. While I anticipate a tough contest for both teams this time, it’s evident that Manchester City holds a clear advantage as the favourites.

My Pick: Manchester City Moneyline bet of -147 with iBet.

West Ham vs Chelsea

West Ham is gearing up for their second match of the season following a draw against Bournemouth. After a challenging season last year, West Ham has recognized the importance of strategic transfers throughout the season. Addressing the loss of their star player, Declan Rice, West Ham has secured the signing of James Ward-Prowse to fill the void left by Rice’s departure.

On the other hand, Chelsea also had a challenging season last year, as we’re all aware. Following several player departures this summer, Chelsea has successfully brought in new talents, including Moises Caicedo, for a substantial fee of $141 million. Their upcoming match follows a draw against Liverpool in their season opener at home. Despite a strong performance, it wasn’t sufficient to clinch a victory.

The last time these two faced each other was in February of this year, ending in a 1-1 draw. If I were to choose a team for this match, I’d lean towards Chelsea; nevertheless, as we know, anything can happen in soccer.

My Pick: Chelsea Moneyline bet of -111 with BetOBet.
