Houston Texans vs New England Patriots (Aug 10th)
The first preseason match is set between the Patriots and the Texans, and there are a few things you should know before kickoff. After ending last season at the bottom of the AFC South division with a 3-13-1 record, the Houston Texans are gearing up to improve. They’ve welcomed DeMeco Ryans as their new head coach, and with new signings like Cory Littleton, Michael Deiter, and Devin Singletary, their strategy will be interesting to watch.
On the other hand, it’s been a while since the New England Patriots were a dominant force in the NFL, especially after Tom Brady’s departure. After securing the third spot in the AFC East last season, the Patriots made some moves, hiring Bill O’Brien as their offensive coordinator and bringing in new players like Olakunle Fatukasi and Rodney Randle.
The last time these two teams faced off was in 2021, with the New England Patriots winning 25-22. However, this time around, the Houston Texans are considered the big favourites. My prediction is that they will come out on top in this match.
My pick: The Houston Texans with a Moneyline bet of -175 at iBet.

Minnesota Vikings vs Seattle Seahawks (Aug 10th)
The Minnesota Vikings delivered a strong regular season last year, clinching the NFC North division with an impressive 13 wins and just 4 losses. However, their playoff journey ended in disappointment with a first-round elimination at the hands of the New York Giants. With Brian Flores now onboard as their new defensive coordinator, I’m confident that the Vikings will bolster their defence. In addition, they’ve made intriguing signings, including players like Abram Smith, Bobby Evans, Garett Maag, and more.
Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks had an interesting last season, finishing second in the NFC West division with a 9-win, 8-loss record in the regular games. Unfortunately, their playoff journey ended in the wild-card round with a loss against the San Francisco 49ers. Their defence has been a challenge in recent years, but things took a positive turn with the addition of Clint Hurtt. The Seahawks also made some exciting signings, including Levi Bell, Anthony Bradford, Austin Faoliu, and more.
Their most recent encounter took place in 2021, with the Vikings securing a 30-17 victory. If I had to pick a team, I would pick the Vikings to win once again.
My pick: The Minnesota Vikings with a Moneyline bet of +154 at BetOBet.
