10 Players that are more likely to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award
10. Stefon Diggs, Buffalo Bills
Stefon Diggs had an outstanding season, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him on our top 10 list. With an impressive 1,429 yards completed with the Buffalo Bills, Diggs proved to be one of the most captivating players to watch. Although the Buffalo Bills didn’t advance far in the playoffs, Diggs managed to maintain an average of 89.3 receiving yards per game.
9. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts is undoubtedly a player who needs no introduction, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he is among the favourites to win the offensive layer of the year in the upcoming season. After an incredible season with the Philadelphia Eagles last year, where he led them to the final, Hurts completed an impressive 3,701 yards, averaging 246.7 yards per game. While it’s challenging to predict if he will secure the award, one thing I’m almost 100% sure of is that he will undoubtedly deliver another stellar season, as he has consistently done.
8. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Things haven’t been quite well for Lamar Jackson as he has faced multiple injuries in the past few years. However, I truly believe that Lamar will have a stellar season this year since he has had ample time to rest and recover. Despite his injuries, Lamar managed to complete an impressive total of 2,242 yards. If he returns to the field at 100% fitness, I have no doubt that he will lead the Baltimore Ravens to a remarkable season.
7. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
If you watched closely, you’d know that Jonathan Taylor is a real threat to anyone trying to stop him on the field. After an impressive season with the Indianapolis Colts, Taylor managed to complete 861 yards. While it may not have been the best performance in the NFL, I firmly believe that Taylor has the potential to set an even better record if he is in top form.
6. Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers
Austin Ekeler is undoubtedly one of the most intense Running Backs in the NFL, making it no surprise to see him in our top 10 predictions. Although things didn’t go very well for him in the last season, where he managed only 915 total yards in the regular season, it’s important to consider that Ekeler has faced his fair share of injuries. Despite this, he has consistently shown throughout his career that he possesses the qualities to be one of the best running backs in the NFL.
5. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins
Tyreek Hill is undoubtedly one of my favourite players to watch. He has been on fire in recent years, and there is every reason to believe that he is a strong candidate to win the offensive player of the Year award in the upcoming season. His incredible speed makes him one of, if not the fastest player in the NFL at the moment. Last season, he performed exceptionally well, ranking as the second-best receiver just behind Justin Jefferson. Tyreek Hill completed an impressive 1,710 yards in the regular season.
4. Justin Fields, Chicago Bears
Another player who has the potential to become the best offensive player in the upcoming season is Justin Fields. Despite the Chicago Bears not having a great season last year, Fields had an impressive performance, completing 1143 yards in the regular season. I firmly believe that he will excel even further in the upcoming season if circumstances work in his favour.
3. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
Christian McCaffrey has been consistently amazing in the past few years, and this trend continued in the last season. He completed an impressive 1139 yards in the regular season, averaging 67 yards per game. As we look ahead to the upcoming season, there’s every reason to expect McCaffrey to maintain his standout performance on the field, making him a force to be reckoned with and leaving fans eager to witness more of his remarkable feats.
2. Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
At just 23 years old, Ja’Marr Chase has consistently amazed us in past seasons, making it no surprise that he ranks among our top 10 favourites to win the offensive player of the Year award in the upcoming season. In the last season, he impressively managed 87 receptions, totalling 1046 yards. It’s remarkable to see that at such a young age, he has already amassed a career total of 2,501 completed yards, demonstrating his immense potential for greatness in the near future.
1. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
After securing the award for the best offensive player in the NFL last year, it comes as no surprise to see Justin Jefferson leading the pack once again. His impressive total of 1,809 yards completed last season, averaging 106.4 yards per game, was the best in the season. With such remarkable statistics, there’s no doubt that Jefferson has the potential to win the award once again if he manages to replicate his outstanding performance from last year.
