If you are a fan of slot games, you probably already heard of Reactoonz before. The first game in which they appear was way back in 2014 with Energoonz. In this review, I will cover the September 2020 game in this Reactoonz 2 review.
The game can be considered a very high volatility slot with an RTP of 96.20%Â and there’s a lot to win with a maximum win of 5,083x. Below, I will go through everything that you need to know about this slot game and explain the differences between Reactoonz part 1 and this second edition.Â

Reactoonz 2 RTP and Wagering
If you have already played the first edition of Reactoonz you probably will be very familiar with this one since most of the features and symbols are indeed very similar. Having 7 rows and 7 reels like the last one, there aren´t common paylines but instead, Cluster Pays. This means that there are a lot of ways to win, which is something that I particularly like.
The cluster pays feature allows you to generate winning combinations anywhere on the screen by obtaining at least five matching symbols instead of going left to right in pre-set lines. There is no need that them all to be in a row; they might join together horizontally or vertically.

When it comes to the background sound, the audio is different from the previous version. I think this one sounds better than the one from the first part, however, if I am completely honest with you after a few minutes I had to turn off the sound because it was a bit too much. Nevertheless, this game gives that feeling like there are a lot of things going on something that I like and can make the players focus on the game.
Another similarity is the yellow and the green alien part of the one-eyed symbols are among the game’s low-paying symbols. Depending on how many you acquire, they all pay off equally, anything from 0.20x to 6x the investment. The pink Reactoonz character is the highest paying symbol, earning 500 times your bet when 15 or more of them appear in a cluster.
These highest paying symbols have a smaller value than in the first game which is something that I really do not like, because, let’s be honest, even if the maximum win is bigger, the fact that the RTP is lower than the first edition, means that the player will have fewer chances of getting the higher wins so will have to spend more.

Cascading Reels
This one should be extremely recognizable to you if you’ve played slot machines before. Cascading reels are a common feature of contemporary online slots. A game round will continue using the cascading game engine until no more winning combinations are produced. The grid will be cleared to make room for new symbols if all matching symbols in a winning combination have been eliminated. The function comes back on when a new victory is achieved.
Wild Pair Explosion feature
Any symbol on the grid (apart from other wilds) will be destroyed if two electric wilds are adjacent to one another, creating a cascade for you. If there are more than two electric wilds, two will be picked at random.
All symbols are once more destroyed if there are no wins on the cascade. The cascades continue until no more nearby wilds are seen.
If there are many electric wilds on the grid, but they are not next to one another, two of them are randomly selected, and a line is created between them. Then, all of the symbols on that line are removed. Up until there are just two electric wilds left on the grid, this process continues.
Fluctuation Feature
If you already played the first edition, you should be familiar with this feature. If you don’t know how it works, is very easy to understand.
The Fluctometer may be seen in the grid’s upper right corner. Every time you spin, the fluctuating symbol is a Lil’ Goon symbol. If the moving symbols combine to form a fruitful cluster, a single electric wild is generated at random on any empty space.
The Fluctometer gets charged after the fluctuating sign has been removed from the grid. When the fluctuating sign is eliminated in a cluster or obliterated by electric wilds, that’s when the feature happens. When the meter is full, you will receive 1, 2, or 3 electric wilds that are added to the grid at random. Electric wilds take the place of other symbols while also eliminating all occurrences of that villain from the grid.
Quantum Leap Features
Probably my favourite feature of the game is the Quantum Leap Feature. The Gargantoon and Energoon wilds are brought onto the grid using the Quantumeter.
The removal of non-wild symbols charges the quantum meter. The Quantumeter’s first level will be activated once you have collected 55 symbols. There are a total of four levels to achieve, and the following is a summary of what you must accomplish to do so and what each level will provide you:
- Level 1: 55 symbols to trigger four 1×2 Energoon Wilds
- Level 2: 85 symbols to trigger one 2×2 Energoon Wilds
- Level 3: 110 symbols to trigger one 3×3 Gargantoon Wild
- Level 4: 135 symbols to get a 2x multiplier for all Gargantoon wins
The Gargantoon game’s symbols explode, much as the original game did. When a cascading win begins, the 3×3 symbol splits into two 2×2 Gargantoon Wilds.
Biggest Wins

The game features different sounds from the previous one and the same number of rows and reels as the original version and the absence of paylines make the game even better, at least for me.
Like I said before, the game comes with an RTP of 96.20% which is the average in the gaming industry, a little less than the first edition which is something that really disappointed me.
